What's your favorite creative outlet?

Posted on Oct 2nd, 2007 by Holly
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 01, 2007:

I have many creative outlets I utilize often. Creativity is one of my life energies. I draw and paint-which I love to do-when I can't put into words how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking.  I write-which I also love to do-when I can need to organize my thoughts and when I'm unable to visually communicate my thoughts. I write inspiring thoughts as they come for fear of losing them to the forgotten.

I can not and will not be caged. I breath water, eat air, and swim through fire. I am the muse of the ages. Imagination is my soul.

Whose smile makes you happiest?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 31, 2007:

The smile that makes me the happiest is my 18 month old son's. He's so bright and cheery, oblivious to the terrible things going on in the world. No matter how bad it gets out there, his smile never fades. If everyone had his outlook of wonder, curiosity, and unbiasedness, the world would most definitely be a better place.

Do you think our culture is progressing or declining?

Posted on Aug 22nd, 2007 by Holly
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 20, 2007:

In my opinion, our culture is on a slowly accelerating decline.  The crime and divorce rates are higher now, than they were 50 years ago. Crimes, at one time, were given serious deliberation and sentences. Divorce was looked down upon and even shunned in some cases. Where education was once reguarded as a privilidge and looked forward to, now it's getting harder and harder get people to go. I believe society, as a whole, dictates what is and is not acceptable. The problem is finding someone able to sway popular belief.

When would you prefer to be recognized?

Posted on Aug 21st, 2007 by Holly
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 21, 2007:

I would much rather be remembered for the legacy I leave behind after I'm gone. Fame is fleeting and pointless if it's not used for the betterment of all. If you're remembered for a legacy, it means you did something worthwhile with your life and someone, somewhere benefit from it.
